After dropping a couple new singles (“Lose You to Love Me” and Look at Her Now”), Selena Gomez is opening up to fans about her single life and her ongoing search for love.

During an appearance on the Zach Sang Show, the singer said that her new life is quite “awesome,” adding that she’s “been super, super single for two years.”

“I want to know what that love will look like next for me,” she explained. “I want it to be real and I don’t want it to be co-dependent or messy or lack communication. When you get older, you find people who are actually right for you, that are actually on the same wavelength as you. … I’m chillin’ right now you guys, honestly, that is so stressful.”

She added, “I’ve been having way too much fun being on my own. It sucked for the first year, I was like, ‘I just want to cuddle. I just want to watch something and be adored.’ But now it feels good, it feels awesome.”
