If anyone deserves love, it’s Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ronan Farrow, whose new book Catch and Kill details how he proposed to his now-fiancee Jon Lovett.

Apparently, getting married on the moon was a running joke for the couple. And in the early stages of writing the book, Ronan would send Jon pages — and in one particular instance, he decided to use it to pop the question.

“I’d send him a draft, and put in a question, right on this page: ‘Marriage? On the moon or even here on earth,’” he wrote in the book, according to People.

“He read the draft, found the proposal here, and said, ‘Sure,’” he added.

The pair first met in 2011 and have kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight. Clearly, they’d rather keep it private — and that’s their prerogative!
