Meghan Markle Had To Take Etiquette Lessons Before Meeting the Queen

It’s like a scene from Princess Diaries, only it’s real.

Before Meghan Markle became a duchess, the California native had to learn how to sit, how to curtsy, and how to drink tea in front of the Queen.

According to a report at The Daily Mail, Meghan had to sign up for tea lessons with Edmund Fry, a London-born etiquette expert who runs the Rose Tree Cottage tea room in Pasadena, California.

The lessons lasted two full hours and covered everything from how to “handle” a fork to how to drink tea the right way.

“She enjoyed it so much that she wanted to come back,” he said of Meghan. “The younger generation doesn’t know what bone china is and certainly don’t know anything about how to handle a cup and saucer, or how to handle a knife and fork.”

We can’t get this scene out of our heads!
