And The New ‘Bachelor’ Is… Peter Weber!
The Bachelor has a new star in Peter Weber.
The news was announced on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise. Peter (also known as “Pilot Pete”) will be looking for love on the 24th season, expected to premiere in early 2020.
“It’s still hitting me right now, and I feel so grateful right now just to have this opportunity in front of me,” Peter told Chris Harrison at the end of Tuesday night’s reunion.
“I feel emotional right now. This is crazy. This is life-changing. I have truly, my entire life, looked forward to finding my girl, and that first person that I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with… I have all the faith in the world that this can work for me, and I know it’s going to.”
Peter is an airplane pilot from Westlake Village, California. He placed third on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette.
Of course, he won the hearts of fans, most of whom have been campaigning for him to be the next Bachelor on social media.
