Black Panther director Ryan Coogler recently announced that the sequel to the hit Marvel series will hit theaters May 6, 2022!

“We’re not taking our time, we’re really trying to get it right,” he said of the production schedule at D23 this weekend. Furthermore, he and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige gave a treatment — including the villain and new title, though neither went into more detail.

As Page Six reported, other upcoming Phase 4 Marvel films include Black Widow on May 1, 2020, The Eternals on Nov. 6, 2020, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings on Feb. 12, 2021, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021.
