Karamo Brown Deletes Twitter After Talking Nice About ‘DWTS’ Costar Sean Spicer

People were quick to hate on Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown after he talked nicely about his Dancing With the Stars costar Sean Spicer.

As of Friday, his account has been deactivated but his Instagram is still active, however the comments have been turned off.

As previously reported, Donald Trump‘s controversial former press secretary will be competing on the upcoming season 28 of the ABC series. During an interview, Karamo said he was looking forward to having “respectful conversations” with Sean. But people weren’t even humoring the idea.

“First, I have no say who is on the cast and didn’t find out till this morning that he is on!” Karamo tweeted in response to a fan who said they were “disappointed” in him for “lending his celebrity to this,” adding, “But I’ll tell you this… I’m excited to sit down w/ him and engage in respectful conversations. Only way things get better is if we try to educate those who have different POV than us.”

Some Twitter folks hopped on Karamo for calling Sean “a good guy” and “a really sweet guy” in a later interview with Access Hollywood.

“I honestly can’t stand people like you who post things like this and you reposted some bs about a comment Jonathan [Van Ness] said… just to flame the fire and get a reaction,” Karamo tweeted, referencing a comment his Queer Eye costar previously made about Mitt Romney.

Eventually, the pressure got too much for Karamo — clearly — because he deleted his Twitter account soon after.
