Wow, Sela Vave Has Already Moved in With Jamie Foxx. But He Says It’s Business.
News of Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes’s split is still new, and already Page Six is reporting that Jamie’s new young gal pal Sela Vave has moved in with him. However, Jamie insists it’s all business.
Rumors of Jamie’s romance with the young singer have been swirling since photos showed them holding hands in Los Angeles while leaving a nightclub.
According to Page Six, news of Jamie and Katie’s split broke the next day after an insider told the outlet that the actress had said, “What Jamie does is his business.”
Now, Jamie has allegedly moved Sela into his Thousand Oaks, Calif., mansion.
Jamie posted a video on Instagram Stories (now also on Vave’s main feed) addressing their living arrangement, where he seemed to confirm that she was living with him — though he insisted he is just helping to launch her music career.
“When I met Ed Sheeran, I didn’t know him from Adam,” he said. “He slept on my couch for six weeks. Nick Cannon was 13 years old, he used to sleep at my old house … everybody come to my crib.”
He says of Sela, “I did the same thing with her … We took her under our wing … We wanted to treat her the same way and give her the opportunity.”
“I spoke to that girl’s mom and she put her trust in me,” he added, calling it a “double standard” that people would assume there’s anything romantic. “We don’t ever cross lines like that, personal. I wanted to let you know, for all who were scandal chasing, that’s our artist, that’s our family … We are working.”
