Sean Spicer is going to be on Dancing with the Stars, and of course fans of the show responded in outrage due to his past relationship with Donald Trump and D.C. politics. But he’s not letting it get to him.

“I’m going out and having some fun,” the former White House press secretary told Mediaite. “I’m going to enjoy myself, and if more people like me, then that’s great.”

“I’m very happy with who I am,” he added. “I’m very happy with the friends that I have. The idea that I need this to make myself feel better is preposterous. I’m in this because I enjoy it. I’m very comfortable with who I am, what I believe and who I support, and that’s it.”

Well… we guess we’ll see how he’ll handle live TV! (In dancing shoes, that is.)
