Katie Couric Is A Fan Of Transcendental Meditation

Katie Couric recently hosted the 15th anniversary of the David Lynch Foundation in the Hamptons, and while there, she opened up to the crowd about transcendental meditation.

For those who don’t know, transcendental meditation refers to a specific form of silent mantra meditation whereby one remains quiet for minutes at a time, a few times a day.

The journalist said the practice helps her manage her schedule, but most importantly, it helps victims of domestic violence and veterans suffering from PTSD. Apparently, the technique is effective in lowering stress, improving brain function, and creativity. Sign us up!

The foundation is about to start teaching the meditation in some NY schools. It’s even being practiced by high power folks on Wall Street.

Have YOU practiced transcendental meditation? We’re dying to hear your thoughts!
