Shawn Mendes has a new tattoo, and he has a fan to thank. After someone tweeted two photos of the singer with a butterfly drawing tattooed on his arm and suggested he get the tat in real life, Shawn agreed.

The 20-year-old star retweeted the fan’s original message saying, “Wait this is awesome, can u DM the drawing ??”

The fan used the photo editing app PicsArt to insert the butterfly on his arm, and the artwork was originally created by Chilean tattoo artist who goes by @macdreaper on Instagram.

Turns out, the tattoo looks pretty identical to the drawing. Check them both out:
