Hugh Jackman is always gonna help a friend out — even if it means stopping a show.

Hugh recently helped an audience member pop the question to his girlfriend during a stop in Minnesota for his The Man. The Music. The Show tour.

During the June 22 concert, the performer tells the crowd that he got a letter from a man named Joe — who, of course, was in the audience.

Hugh then handed Joe the mic, into which Joe spoke directly to his girlfriend: “You’re the love of my life, and I want to spend every day with you, which is why I asked Hugh, here, to help me out with this.”

Then he got on one knee, and asked her to be his wife. How romantic!
