Cuba Gooding Jr. Was Overheard Ranting About Harassment Allegations

It wasn’t the best week for Cuba Gooding Jr., who was accused of sexual harassment and charged with one count of misdemeanor forcible touching for allegedly grabbing a woman’s breast while at a rooftop bar earlier this month.

According to Page Six, the actor was seen at the Bowery Hotel Monday night loudly ranting against the charge and venting to a friend about the whole thing.

“He said the woman fabricated the whole thing and that the truth would come out,” a spy told Page Six. “It was bizarre that he was in the main lounge of the hotel and he was talking about it.”

“He was making jokes and asking his friend if there were security cameras,” another added. “After several drinks and an order of fries, he and his friend were trying to find a place to go out after. He kept checking his phone because they were waiting for a friend, but he really wanted to go out.”

Meanwhile, Cuba’s attorney Mark Heller said to Page Six, “His confidence in the legal system and his legal representation has freed him from the anxiety that usually causes defendants in his situation to recoil from society… Mr. Gooding continues to appropriately interact and socialize as he normally does.”

Well, let’s hope he watches himself!
