Michelle Obama Stopped By Broadway’s ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’
Sometimes even former first ladies need a night out!
According to Page Six, Michelle Obama went to see Broadway’s To Kill a Mockingbird, but she was so discreet that people barely noticed when she arrived.
“It was like a magic trick,” the spy said. “She appeared out of thin air as the show was about to begin, then vanished without a trace at intermission.”
A spokesperson for the show couldn’t confirm how the disappearing act was executed, but apparently a source from backstage confirmed that the Shubert Theatre has a “lounge for special guests,” where famous people hide during intermission. Who knew?!
Michelle was later seen shushing away her security as she gave a standing ovation.
Then, she was whisked out a side door. Talk about a clean exit!
Obama was later spotted waving away her security detail, so she could give the cast a proper standing ovation, before being whisked out a side exit.
