Travis Scott Donates Profits To Planned Parenthood, Protesting Abortion Laws
Travis Scott is using his platform for a just cause.
The rapper recently performed in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and announced that eventing he’d donate all profits from the sales of merchandise to Planned Parenthood.
“I wanna donate my net profits from my merch today to Planned Parenthood,” he said during the performance. “We feel for those in Alabama. I love you all. I just want everyone to know that love is the strongest thing that we can have. So to anyone out there — man, woman — I wanna dedicate this song to you.”
The donation is in response to the recently-passed law banning nearly all abortions. His girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, has also spoken out against the wave of laws that are hitting several states.
