In the wake of Republican-led states charging ahead with restrictive anti-abortion bills designed to insight legal battles conservatives hope to eventually land at the Supreme Court, Evan Rachel Wood has a suggestion: mandatory vasectomies for men!

Mandatory vasectomies until you want to have children.
They can be reversed, so.

The actress has always been a vocal advocate for women’s reproductive rights. She followed up her first tweet by stating that she doesn’t believe in mandatory vasectomies. Her only intention was to prove a point.

I dont want mandatory vasectomies because I dont believe we should legislate peoples bodies, its a dangerous slippery slope. I used the example to point out the hypocrisy of always putting the responsibility, punishment, blame, or means of prevention, solely on women.
