Pamela Anderson Continues Defending Julian Assange

Pamela Anderson is on a mission to show that her friend, Julian Assange, is an innocent man.

The former Playboy playmate visited the WikiLeaks founder in prison this week, and later shared a handwritten note in defense of Julian.

“J.A. is the [world’s] most innocent man,” she wrote. “He is treated as [the world’s] most dangerous man in order to make him a criminal. Without him ever having done anything whatever wrong.”

“He does not deserve to be in a supermax prison,” she also told The Sun after her visit. “He has never committed a violent act. He is an innocent person.”

Julian faces charges in the United States for conspiring with former U.S. Army intelligence specialist Chelsea Manning to hack Defense Department computers in 2010. He was sentenced to 50 weeks behind bars for jumping bail in the UK, after he was seeking refuge at the Ecuadorian embassy.

He was eventually kicked out of the embassy and later arrested after Ecuador revoked his political asylum.

“He is a good man, he is an incredible person. I love him, I can’t imagine what he has been going through,” Pamela continued. “It was great to see him, but this is just misrule of law in operation. It is absolute shock that he has not been able to get out of his cell.”

Say what you want about Pamela, she’s certainly a loyal friend!
