Gayle King Lands $11M Deal With CBS News
Gayle King has finally negotiated her salary, and apparently it’s double what she was making before!
According to Page Six, the CBS This Morning host will now make $11 million a year, amid a whole new turn around of anchors on the hit morning show. She had previously been making $5 million.
One Page Six source apparently said that she could be making even more! As we previously reported, Oprah was advising Gayle in the new deal and had reportedly told Gayle to go big or go home.
“I said, ‘Get what you want. Get exactly what you want, because now’s the time. And if you don’t get what you want, then make the next right move,’” Oprah told told The Hollywood Reporter.
Though Gayle will stay on the show, her co-host Norah O’Donnell will leave and will likely take over as anchor of CBS Evening News, ousting Jeff Glor.
