Whoa, Luann de Lesseps Admits To Drinking Despite Probation
Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps is on probation following her infamous Florida arrest last year. But that hasn’t stopped her drinking and partying ways.
According to reports, the Florida Department of Corrections accused Luann of not taking her probation seriously and doesn’t quite know how to move forward with her case.
Court documents state that the star was ordered not to drink during her year-long probation period, but “per her New York Probation Officer, [she had] an alcohol test conducted on 04/21/2019. [She] admitted to drinking 2 glasses of mimosas after a performance she had in Chicago.”
As Page Six reports of the court docs, Luann was told she could enroll in outpatient treatment but she “declined due to her touring schedule.” She also declined to be fitted for an alcohol ankle monitoring device because it was “too intrusive.”
“I take my sobriety very seriously and like many in my situation, it is a daily struggle,” Luann told Page Six exclusively. “I remain committed to doing whatever it takes to continue living a healthy sober lifestyle.”
