Turns out, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s Las Vegas wedding wasn’t as spontaneous as many had thought.
As previously reported, the couple got married only a few hours after the Billboard Music Awards. But according to TMZ, the couple booked the chapel a week before they exchanged vows.
Jesse Grice, the Elvis Presley impersonator who officiated the nuptials, told TMZ that he was alerted of the wedding last week — though he didn’t know it was going to be Joe and Sophie. Talk about a surprise!
The actress wore a white silk Bevza jumpsuit and a white veil as she walked down the aisle while Dan + Shay performed an acoustic version of their romantic tune “Speechless.”
Their wedding was streamed live on Instagram by record producer Diplo. Who knows how many guests were sober — it was immediately after the Billboard Music Awards after all!
