Whoopi Goldberg Is Doing Well After Being Hospitalized Again
Fans were worried when Whoopi Goldberg went missing again from The View. But upon her return on Monday’s episode, the EGOT winner set the record straight.
“I’m better. I’m much, much better,” she said. “I had a 24-hour bug, which landed me back in the hospital last week, which is why I missed y’all on Thursday. The bug came and went. It’s gone. I seem to be doing well. I’m here!”
Whoopi had missed nearly a month on the show in February due to pneumonia and sepsis. After three weeks in the hospital, she slowly started appearing again before going missing again last Thursday.
