Kate Beckinsale doesn’t care what anyone has to say about her relationship with Pete Davidson, recently explaining that she’s surprised by the media attention — though it doesn’t even matter to her.

“I’ve never been in this position before — never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief,” the actress told the Los Angeles Times. “It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to.”

“I’d rather not have people hiding outside my house,” she said. “It’s a little old-fashioned to have a woman’s personal life [looked at like that]. It’s a little bit tired.”

Pete also addressed the relationship during a segment on Saturday Night Live, where he said: “Apparently, people have a crazy fascination with our age difference, but it doesn’t really bother us.”

One source also close to Pete told The Post: “They are really into each other. They’ve been trying to stay low-key, but they can’t go anywhere without getting spotted.”

Hey, at least they’re in love! Shouldn’t that be all that matters?
