Barbra Streisand Blames Victim’s Parents In Michael Jackson Case

Barbra Streisand has a firm opinion on Michael Jackson’s sexual abuse allegations, which were highlighted in HBO’s Leaving Neverland.

Speaking to the Times of London, she spoke about the sexual abuse claims brought by Wade Robson and James Safechuck. The iconic singer told the newspaper that she doesn’t doubt that Michael abused them when they were children but she placed blame for it on their parents — not the King of Pop.

“I blame, I guess, the parents, who would allow their children to sleep with him,” she said, adding that both the children who spoke about their abuse at the hands of the singer in the documentary “both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.”

“His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has,” she said. “You can say ‘molested,’ but those children, as you heard say, they were thrilled to be there.”
