It’s always interesting to hear what movie inspired some of our favorite actresses!

Recently, Julianne Moore told Annette Insdorf at the 92nd Street Y that Robert Altman’s 3 Women inspired her to become an actress.

“Sissy Spacek and Shelley Duvall in that scene at the bar,” she reflected. “I was like, ‘What kind of acting is that, that I’m seeing?’ Watching these women in spectacular, very nuanced performances sort of woke me up, because I didn’t know anything about film.”
