Justin Theroux Accused His Neighbor of Domestic Abuse In Sworn Statement
Justin Theroux is a good person. So good that he recently called out his West Village neighbors for domestic abuse in a shocking new claim.
In a sworn statement filed against his lawyer-neighbor Norman Resniow for an ongoing civil court fight over apartment renovations, Justin alleges that lawyer-neighbor Norman Resnicow abuses his wife.
The actor stated he heard Norman screaming at his wife on the evening of Feb. 10 as he left his own apartment, and was so disturbed he called the cops. A few days later, Barbara Resnicow was seen by building officials with a black eye, the filing alleges.
“Because my apartment is directly above the Resnicows’ apartment, I have had the misfortune over the years of personally overhearing Mr. Resnicow frequently scream at and berate Mrs. Resnicow, with some of those instances resulting in calls to 911,” he writes. “Although I cannot know for certain that Mrs. Resnicow’s injury stems from the Sunday night altercation 2 ½ days earlier, I am bringing this to the Court’s attention because, by all outward appearances, earlier attempts to go through the police have not been effective.”
