Michelle Rodriguez has come to bat for her Widows costar Liam Neeson over his controversial confession that he once wanted to “kill” any random black man after a close friend was raped.

“It’s all f— b—. Liam Neeson is not a racist,” she told Vanity Fair on the red carpet at the amFAR Gala in New York City this week.

The actress went on to share that given his passionate scenes with Viola Davis in Widows (the two play a married couple in the film), which she didn’t believe could be faked so convincingly, Liam couldn’t be racist.

“Dude, have you watched Widows? His tongue was so far down Viola Davis’s throat. You can’t call him a racist ever,” she said. “Racists don’t make out with the race that they hate, especially in the way he does with his tongue — so deep down her throat. I don’t care how good of an actor you are.”

“It’s all b—. Ignore it. He’s not a racist. He’s a loving man. It’s all lies,” she added.
