Alanis Morissette’s ‘Jagged Little Pill’ Coming to Broadway
You, you, you ought know… that Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill is coming to Broadway!
Songs from Alanis’s 1995 breakthrough album Jagged Little Pill are going to be used in a new musical coming to Broadway this fall. The show, also called Jagged Little Pill, played the American Repertory Theater last summer and was directed by Diane Paulus with an original story by Diablo Cody, who wrote Juno. Not bad!
Alanis’s work is adding to the plethora of other rock stars who had their moment on the Great White Way in the last few years, including Bruce Springsteen, Sting, The Go-Go’s, Sara Bareilles, Billy Joel and Cyndi Lauper.
We’ll definitely be there.
