The rise and fall of Harvey Weinstein is documented in the new film Untouchable, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival this weekend — the very festival he was once the ruler of.

Nearly 100 women, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Salma Hayek, have come forward with their stories of how the mogul engaged in inappropriate behavior against their will.

Currently, Weinstein is awaiting trial.

According to reports, the film describes that he also assaulted several of his staffers — and his executives knew all about it. Not only that, but according to Us Weekly, the film also shows that much of the media was afraid of him, which could partly be why he had control in killing stories.

In the film, Ronan Farrow shares that when he was reporting on his story for The New Yorker in 2017, he learned that Weinstein had contracted Black Cube, a private intelligence firm also used by the Mossad in Israel.

One investigator spoke anonymously with his voice distorted on camera, revealing that he was given a list of Weinstein-approved targets that he aimed to spy on and subsequently discredit.

Even to this day, many of Weinstein’s victims are afraid of retaliation.
