Get ready for some supreme talent onscreen when Michelle Williams transforms herself into the OG diva, Diana Ross, in the upcoming BET show American Soul. 

Michelle will be starring as a young Diana in the 1970s, as she debates whether or not to appear on legendary television host and producer Don Cornelius’ dance show Soul Train.

The show follows Don’s rise and fall, and will also feature Bobby Brown as Rufus Thomas, Gabrielle Dennis as Tina Turner, and Kelly Rowland as Gladys Knight. 

Judging from Michelle’s recent tweet, she is pretty stoked to take on the role of all roles.
