Charlie Rose doesn’t seem to be bothered, months after being axed from CBS, given that he was the “life of the party” at journalist Liz Robbins’s holiday party. 

However, one man that was visibly absent was Les Moonves. 

“Everyone was talking about Les because he usually attends and he was absent this year,” a partygoer stated to Page Six. “Charlie was very diplomatic and talked about the holidays instead, but the grin was eerie. He was in such good spirits.”

The spy also confirmed that Charlie was “licking his chops, laughing and having a blast. He had a spring in his step. He wasn’t acting like someone who was let go this year at all.”

Also at the party were Bill and Hillary Clinton, who were apparently “glued at the hip,” while Michael Bloomberg was on the tip of people’s tongues as a possible presidential candidate. 

“There were whispers all night. People were saying, ‘Our next president’s in the room,’ ” the Page Six source added. Discovery network’s Henry Schleiff approached him and asked, “Don’t you plan to run every eight years? Aren’t you due?” Bloomberg laughed and responded, “You never know!”
