Leah Remini Says Scientologists Are Told To ‘Run Away’ From Her

Leah Remini has spent the last few years exposing horrific abuses by the Church of Scientology with her A&E show Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath. And she’s not stopping any time soon.

In a recent sit-down, she revealed that it’s custom for members of the organization to run away from her.

While chatting with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live!, the actress said she wasn’t surprised when Scientologist Elisabeth Moss walked out on her TCA acceptance speech last year.

“I wish I was surprised,” she said. “But that is kind of the teachings of Scientology, to not watch or listen to anything or anyone who speaks out against the abuses of it. They literally run away. It’s really sad to watch it because it’s like I really don’t mean them any harm but I know how they feel.”

She added, “I remember how I felt when I saw people who I was taught and brainwashed into believing were the devil, so it’s sad to see them react to me that way.”
