Michelle Obama’s Memoir Is The Best-Selling Book of 2018!

If this doesn’t make you want to run to Barnes & Noble to buy Michelle Obama’s Becoming, we don’t know what will. It’s been announced that the former first lady’s memoir is now the best-selling book of 2018. That’s a big deal!

Penguin Random House announced that Becoming sold more than two million copies across North America — that includes all formats: hardcover, e-book, and audio sales. It sold 725,000 copies on its first day in print.

Hillary Clinton’s Living History sold one million copies over a month’s time, while former President George W. Bush’s Decision Points sold two million copies over several weeks, and former President Bill Clinton’s My Life sold more than one million copies in the first eight days of publication.

So clearly, Michelle swept them!

Becoming remains in the No. 1 spot of The New York Times‘ best-seller lists for Hardcover Nonfiction and the Combined Print and E-Book Bestsellers.
