WTF: Claire Foy Was Denied Entry Into Emmys After Party, After She Won!
Apparently, even if you’ve won an Emmy you aren’t allowed into some of the after parties. Not even if you played the freaking Queen of England!
“I didn’t get in,” she quipped to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. “I was mortified. I was like, ‘Oh god!’ I was [holding my Emmy] and even then [they didn’t let me in].”
That’s when Jonathan Van Ness from Queer Eye stepped in. “He was my knight in a white suit. When he got me in, I made it a point of principle. I was like, ‘Thank you, Jonathan, but I’m waiting until I’ve got the tickets and I’m going to do this properly,’ which is ridiculous.”
