CBS Wants To Be Dismissed From Charlie Rose Sexual Harassment Suit

CBS says it can’t be responsible for alleged sexual misconduct by Charlie Rose, according to a court filing from a Manhattan Supreme Court.

Apparently, the suit is “wholly infirm as against CBS,” the motion says. “Specifically, one of the Plaintiffs never worked at CBS, and another was not a CBS employee at the time Rose allegedly engaged in harassment.” It added, “In any event, none of the three Plaintiffs state any cognizable claims against CBS.”

The women, all in their 20s, allege that Charlie touched all of their arms, shoulders, waists and backs, boasted about his sexual conquests and urged a couple of them to have sex with each other, “indicating that he was having sexual fantasies about them.”

Whether Charlie or CBS is liable, it’s clear he did a big no-no.
