Sarah Huckabee Sanders Was Asked to Leave Virginia Restaurant

Sarah Huckabee Sanders alleges she was victim of discrimination when a Virginia restaurant told her to leave because of her affiliation with Donald Trump.

“Last night, I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left,” she wrote on Twitter. “Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so.”

Just last month, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of a bakery owner refusing to make a wedding cake for same-sex couples due to religious freedom.

Her dad, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, wasn’t too happy. He wrote, “Bigotry. On the menu at Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington VA. Or you can ask for the ‘Hate Plate.’ And appetizers are ‘small plates for small minds.’ ”
