Don’t Ask Robert De Niro To Play Donald Trump
During the Tribeca Film Festival, Robert De Niro was asked if there was a role he’d never play.
“You want to guess?” he asked. “I’ll give you one guess and I’ll tell you. Donald Trump.”
It’s pretty clear Robert De Niro doesn’t like Donald Trump. During a speech last March, he called him an idiot. “Look at our president. He made it through [the] University of Pennsylvania, so he was exposed to a quality education, but he’s still an idiot.”
“He lacks any sense of humanity or compassion,” he added. “Of course, he did have to overcome the curse of growing up rich and spoiled and endure the heartbreak of bone spurs, maybe that had an effect.”
