Sometimes getting a divorce is exactly the freedom one needs — just ask Russell Crowe.

“In other news… yesterday, April 9th 2018 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (Aus)… I officially became divorced,” the actor tweeted. “Thank you linesman. Thank you ball boys.”

For 15 years, he was married to Danielle Spencer, though they separated officially in 2012. He recently set up his own auction at Sotheby’s Australia with personal items and film memorabilia.
