Emily Blunt Doesn’t Think ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Sequel Is Smart

People are obviously smitten over the idea of a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, the movie that launched Emily Blunt’s career. While Emily isn’t closed to it, she’s also not campaigning for one.

“We all just wept with laughter,” she said to People on working on the film. “I loved working with sweet Annie Hathaway and it was my first experience working Meryl [Streep] and Stanley Tucci who is now my brother-in-law.”

As far as a sequel, “If everyone did it I would be up for it,” she said. “I almost hope it doesn’t [happen] because I think sometimes when you sequel everything kind of dilutes how special the original is.” Read more at People.
