‘American Chopper’ Star Paul Teutul Sr.’s Home Is In Foreclosure

Paul Teutul Sr., star of American Chopper, apparently received a warning that he was in danger of losing his home last year, and now is due to be in court, reports Page Six.

As the outlet reports, Paul took out a $1.5 million mortgage for the home on 95 Judson Road in Montgomery, New York, in 2005 and modified the loan in 2013 and 2016 to lower his monthly payments. The Orange County Choppers owner owed $870,939.43 on the property as of February 2017.

“The foreclosure filing, which was not executed, was an action taken to give options for an ongoing tax assessment request. Mr. Teutul cares for numerous animals on his property and under the laws of NY State is eligible for an agricultural assessment to provide property tax relief to the property owner,” Paris D’Jon of HYPE Projects Agency said.
