It’s Official: ‘Charmed’ Reboot Is Coming To CW With A Feminist Twist!
Charmed landed a pilot order at The CW. The reboot is based on the hit 1998 series of the same name about three powerful sisters, who happened to be witches.
“This fierce, funny, feminist reboot of the original series centers on three sisters in a college town who discover they are witches,” The CW states. “Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy, and maintaining familial bonds, a witch’s work is never done.”
The show is in present day, which apparently opens up opportunities for the original cast to make appearances.
Who knows if the lead characters will be related to Halliwell sisters.
