Holly Marie Combs Doesn’t Like The CW’s ‘Charmed’ Reboot: ‘Fans Won’t Be Fooled’
Piper Halliwell, i.e. Holly Marie Combs, is not having it with The CW’s alleged reboot. Pretty much, she’s saying that just because you’re calling it “Charmed” doesn’t necessarily mean it’s about their story.
And given that the network says it’s about three sisters living in a college town, chances are it has nothing to do with the original storyline.
“Here’s the thing,” she tweeted. “Until you ask us to rewrite it like [executive producer] Brad Kern did weekly don’t even think of capitalizing on our hard work. Charmed belongs to the 4 of us, our vast amount of writers, crews and predominantly the fans. FYI you will not fool them by owning a title/stamp. So bye.”

She also questions the “feminist” twist the network is trying to play on.
Guess we forgot to do that the first go around. Hmph. https://t.co/kDXLBefuSG
