Russell Simmons Being Sued For Allegedly Raping Woman Inside His Home
Music mogul Russell Simmons is facing a $5 million lawsuit who claims that he raped her last year in his Beverly Hills home.
Jennifer Jarosik alleges that Simmons “pounced on her” when she shut down his request to have sex in his Beverly Hills home in 2016, according to the Blast.
She claims the Def Jam founder “got aggressive” after she turned him down and pushed her onto his bed. She then fell and hit her head, and Russell “proceeded to rape her,” she alleges.
“This allegation is absolutely untrue,” Russell said in a statement released to Page Six. “I look forward to having my day in court – where, unlike the court of public opinion, I will have the ability to make use of fair processes that ensure that justice will be done and that the full truth will be known.”
