When news of Bobby Zarin’s death filtered news outlets, no doubt Bethenny Frankel realized that her ex-best friend Jill Zarin needed her desperately. At the funeral, Bravo cameras were filming the day for The Real Housewives of New York City, and caught the whole thing.

Sources at Page Six say that Bethenny heard the news while in Aspen, Colo. and chartered a private jet back to the city to attend the funeral on the Upper West Side.

A source close to Jill said she was aware that Bravo would be filming at the service, adding, “This was all about memorializing Bobby — [there was] no drama. It’s very sad for all. He was an important part of the show and a great friend to many who appeared on it.”

The source added that Bill would be happy to know that the funeral brought the onetime old ­friends-turned-nemeses back together.

Jill gave a touching eulogy, calling Bobby “an incredibly great husband, a great father and grandfather, and [a] truly great friend.” Her sister, Judge Lisa Wexler, said of Jill and Bobby’s 18-year marriage, “He was the ground to her air.”
