The Roseanne revival on ABC is back! And in the latest set of promos, the cast sits around the couch and makes fun of the return of Dan, who died of a heart attack on the last episode of the original series.

“You can’t live in the past, Dan,” Roseanne Conner (Roseanne Barr) says. “When things are gone, they’re gone forever.”

ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey had previously said: “I don’t want to talk too specifically, but I wouldn’t say we’ll ignore the events of the finale. Dan is definitely still alive.”
