Mario Batali’s Business Partner Knew Of The Sexual Harassments
Mario Batali received a slew of sexual harassment allegations in the last few weeks, and now his business partner Joe Bastianich admitted that he was fully aware of the harassment against employees, telling Eater that he “should have done more.”
“I’m proud of what our teams accomplish every day, and I’ve always tried to show respect for them and their work,” Joe said. “It pains me that some employees feel differently, and I’m reexamining my own behavior to ensure that everyone I work with feels that respect.”
Joe denies ever seeing Mario grope an employee and says he “never heard” of such complaints.
