Christiane Amanpour was just tapped to fill in the gap on PBS created by Charlie Rose’s exit.

Amanpour on PBS was to begin airing Monday on New York’s PBS station and be available to other public TV stations starting Dec. 11. The program will air on PBS stations after it shows on CNN International.

In addition to Christiane’s half hour show, a second public affairs program will be shot as well — both filling in the hour gap.
