Evan Rachel Wood has been an activist for years, and has been an outspoken supporter for sexual assault victims as she is a victim herself.

Recently, Evan filmed a 15-minute video explaining why she still chooses not to expose the names of her rapists — she’s been raped twice (both before she was 22), according to an open letter she wrote for Rolling Stone.

In the video, she says that conversation around assault appears to be about scoring points instead of actually attempting to break down rape culture, or discuss patriarchal structures in which unhealthy behavior can survive.
