Ivana Trump Criticizes Trump’s Ex, Marla Maples For ‘Taking My Kids Away From Me’
Some grudges last for a long time, especially if you come from a Trump history.
Ivana Trump recently came out against Donald Trump’s second wife, Marla Maples, in her new book Raising Trump — out today.
Ivana said she’s rejected all of Marla’s public apologies for her affair with Trump in the mid-1990s, which led to Ivana and Donald’s divorce. In the book, Ivana calls Marla a “showgirl” and blasts her for “knowingly entering into a relationship with my husband, the father of three small children.”
Ivan writes: “She actively participated in humiliating me in the media and indirectly put my kids at risk for months… I went through hell, and then I was expected to be okay with her being around my children?” She added, “We all have deep scars from that period of our lives, in part due to her actions.”
After Marla appeared on Dancing With the Stars, Ivana criticized her saying she had “no class.”
“The showgirl appeared on DWTS when (because) her ex-husband was running for president! It was disrespectful to do the show. I never would have embarrassed Donald that way,” Ivana said.
