Hugh Grant & Ben Whishaw Are Playing Ex-Lovers in ‘A Very English Scandal’
I love watching Hollywood celebrities go “gay for pay” on screen, especially Hugh Grant.
In the upcoming Amazon series A Very English Scandal, Hugh and Ben Whishaw are playing ex-lovers. The show is set in 1960s Britain with homosexuality just being decriminalized, and traces the trial of Liberal party leader Jeremy Thorpe (Grant) who went to major levels of corruption while his former lover Norman Scott (Whishaw) threatens to expose his secret.
The show is currently filming, and thankfully Amazon has released its first-look image.
This sounds like a binge-worthy kinda night, wouldn’t you say?
