When you diss Wonder Woman, you’re going to piss a lot of people off — including the Woman herself, Lynda Carter!

Lynda, who played Wonder Woman in the 1975 TV series, had a face off with director James Cameron, who’s been publicly bashing the film, suggesting it’s back stepping from progress towards women in film.

“You poor soul,” she wrote on Facebook. “Your thuggish jabs at a brilliant director, Patty Jenkins, are ill advised. This movie was spot on. I know, Mr. Cameron — because I have embodied this character for more than 40 years. So — STOP IT.”

Patty Jenkins had previously commented on James’s comments, saying he had an “inability to understand.”
