Jason Alexander Reaches Out to Julia Louis-Dreyfus After Breast Cancer Reveal

Jason Alexander reached out to his former Seinfeld costar after she revealed this week she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“@OfficialJLD so sorry you have to go thru this, pal, but I know you will prevail. We are here if/when you need and we love you,” he tweeted.

Julie had previously wrote on social media, “1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one. The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.”

While she didn’t provide any other information, a rep for Julia said to People magazine: “Julia is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and well wishes.”

Apparently, Julia heard of the diagnoses the day after she won an Emmy this year for her role in Veep.
